As Managing Partner, Marjorie runs the Fait & DiLima Family Law firm with a steady hand and a creative mind. She graduated with honors in 1994 with both a law degree (J.D.) and M.B.A. She followed those studies with a Masters in Taxation (LL.M) from Georgetown University Law. She is accepted to practice in the U.S. District Court (Federal), the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court. Her ease and acumen with numbers makes her an outstanding sleuth for hidden assets cases. <\/b>Marjorie often teaches at Montgomery College integrity and professionalism in the practice of law to paralegals. She also holds a lifetime position in the American Inns of Court, an organization devoted to raising the level of professional conduct in the legal profession in Montgomery County and elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Marjorie is certified to conduct mediation<\/b><\/a> and practice collaborative law<\/b><\/a> \u2013 an alternate dispute process handled outside of court. In some situations, she represents not one of the spouses, but the minor(s), as a Best Interest Attorney<\/b><\/a>, and has a significant impact on what custody arrangement is best for the child.<\/p>\n

One area of Marjorie\u2019s expertise and interest includes cases where alcohol and drug use<\/b><\/a> adversely affect family dynamics as well as cases involving narcissists<\/a> or people with high conflict personalities.<\/p>\n
